Cool Rob there...Rob! It totally looks like an old newspaper ad, or cheap black and white poster effect. Much more subtle than "blood splatters", but that's part and parcel for being a commercial artist.

I was kind of waiting to announce this closer to publication time, but thanks to our own Captain, I was able to hook up with the fine folks at AC Comics, and draw seven pages of the upcoming FemForce #141. I had a blast, and it looks like I'll be doing more FemForce work in the future. The pages contain some pretty hevy spoilers. Page 2 of my sequence is the least "revealing".

Again a big thanks to Clayton and Mark at AC for the opportunity!
    Chris
Hey Chris Congrats can't wait to see it in print I love FemForce!

Wow! Fantastic stuff! I didn't realize there was so much talent out there.

I am artistically inclined and used to draw like crazy when I was a kid. I have a pencil drawing I did of the Washington Redskins in Super Bowl 17 (I was 14 at the time) that I'll scan and post. I never took any art classes other than the elementary school kind and regret never pursuing it any further but really awesome work guys.

All of the pictures look great!

i put a cruddy-looking halftone effect over him to give off that cheap movie poster feel, like one you'd see in a newspaper, something i thought fit the subject and that Rob himself would appreciate. this is the one i preferred:

I have hundreds more but these are some of the latest. The Frank is more inspired by the Art of Jack Davis combined with all of my other favorite versions.

The shock monster was featured in Horrorhound magazine.
It's an updated design on the monster mask from the old Famous Monster of filmland magazine pages seen like my avatar.
    Take care,

    Hee heee!

Neat stuff! CBG's coloured stuff reminds me A LOT of a cartoonist who was pretty popular back in the 70's... but I can't remember his name. I remember he did a lot of cool horror books though. Had a weird sort-of pointilistic style.

.... 'course everybody's stuff makes me feel old; since I hate using digital colour....

Anyhoo; since I hate being left out, here's a couple of pics I did at work.
