Well I went 50% anyhow; which is better than I thought I would. My wife is from Cincy, so that loss went hard around our house...FOR HER! J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets. I will make a convert out of her yet.

Here are my predictions for this week. Although, I am not bold enough to predict scores.

Vikings vs. Saints Brett Favre has his team appearing invincible, but the Saints know they are unstoppable. So when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object what happens? That is when the Saints go marching in. Drew Brees can get it done on the "O" side of the field. My gut tells me Vikings, but my head says Saints. I haven't eaten in a while so my gut is probably lying..Saints take this one.

Colts vs. Jets Peyton Manning knows how to get the job done, but the Jets know how to put him on the unemployment line. So how will Manning's job skills hold up in a sour economy? Manning and company are going to put some points on the board. Gang Green is going to force some mistakes and turnovers. Field position, field position, field position! J-E-T-S pressure the Colts receivers into dropping some passes and Gang Greens offensive line wears out the Colts defense, allowing the Jets to run in the second half. My Jets go to New Orleans. Once again, I may be prejudice on this pick.

Let me take a crack at it. Watch me go down in flames.

Baltimore vs. Colts: Baltimore's run offense finds a way to get it done and Peyton repeats another 1 and done scenario. 1 month off from serious play is just too much time.

Arizona vs. New Orleans: New Orleans has had more ups than downs but I think they fly high in this one and send the Cardinals packing.

Cowboys vs. Vikings: The Cowboys are playing hot at just the right time and Favre is not getting any younger. I think the Cowboys get the job done.

Jets vs. Chargers: The J-E-T-S are flying high right now and there Defense has been hard against the pass all year. The Chargers are hot but I think the Jets come out on top. Of course, I'm a Jets fan so this might be biased.

Nope...This isn't college football where you need to run up the score to get a better position in your standings/rankings/polls...this is Professional Football. You can say all you want...it was completely CLASSLESS on Favre's part. You know what they say, Karma is a *****. He'll get his own when they play New Orleans. Hope he gets the snot kicked out of him. After that...it may be the final thing that get's him to finally retire...for good.
