Egg Nog

It's just fun to drink something called NOG.

But, my new favorite Christmas drink is hot chocolate with a dash of peppermint schnapps. That will help you sleep well on a cold winter's night.

Mmm...Love it!!!
I like to half it with skim milk though.
I also like it mixed with alittle spiced rum.
(98% of the time with out rum though.)

Used to hate the stuff, and stayed away from it like a vampire stays away from garlic. A few years ago I was at a Christmas get together and was handed a glass (non-alcoholic) for a toast somebody was making. To be polite I took a swig, and found I actually didnt mind the stuff. Now I look forward to its annual appearance in the stores, and drink it like water during the festive season!

I hate when it disappears right after Christmas.
Especially when I still have a hankering for some and it's nowhere to be found.

I LOVE eggnog but I cannot STAND the watery, thin kind that has the consistency of milk. It has to be the nice thick kind that leaves an opaque film on the sides of the glass if you swirl it around a bit.
I have never mixed it with alcohol but there is a brand of eggnog called Southern Comfort (it's non-alcoholic) that is my absolute favorite so far. Can usually find it cheapest at Wal-Mart.
MMMMMM. Man I'm almost tempted to make an eggnog run right now. My mouth is watering for some.

I'm the only one in my family who likes egg nog.

I'm sure it's a seasonal thing, like the Shamrock Shake.
I imagine it should show up soon if it's going to be available this year.
