Just finished watching the last two episodes of the 8 episode run of the 17th (SEVENTEENTH!)! series/season of ITS ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA
and for those who have seen it or are fans of the show, you know what to expect.

And yes, there were some funny moments as usual. My guy; CHARLEY is still the same loveable sap!
yes the rag tag cast of side kicks have shown up too! Rickety Cricket, the Waitress! The Shady Lawyer, Charley's Uncle Jack!
some of my fave episodes this series are: "Overage Drinking" and "Thought Leadership: A Corporate Conversation"
BUT! The best one was the first episode of the series: "The gang F***s up ABBOTT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL"
apparently, The crossover was first conceived after Quinta Brunson (also: Teacher Janice Teagues) and Rob Mac, the respective creators of Abbott Elementary and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, met at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards and joked that their shows should crossover. WELL...
Stranger Chet has happened and I am so glad this did, I actually had to go find the VOLUNTEERS Episode from Abbott Elementary and check out part one. I loved it. Now I am gonna have to record Abbott and check out all FIVE Seasons/Series.
If you haven't had a chance, check out the new series. It's worth it to see Sweet Dee get cold-cocked by the Waitress!

When is the next crossover!?!?!?!?

Oh and sadly, Lynne Marie Stewart (Charley's MOM; One of Frank's lovers over the years) who passed away in February of this year, appeared in the last episode. And at the end there was a lovely tribute to her. I didn't realize she was on Pee Wee Herman's show, but then again i never watched the pee wee herman show.
RIP Lynne, you did great.
