I think you can still get all of those. They're kind of like the glass balls on the X-mas tree, you gotta have them. Classics. I love halloween, but we live in the country and no-body goes trick or treating here. Besides for some reason in many places it's "dangerous" and parents only take their kids to organized events. IMO, thats a real shame, I used to love getting all dressed up and going out getting candy or sneaking around the neighborhood. Sure we always kept an eye out for possible bad stuff in candy, but it really kept with the spirit of the holiday.

Do people really put sewing needles and acid (LSD) in candy or apples? That's totally and absolutely pathetic. It was always an urban legend but I never knew anybody that found anything.

Coolest thing we used to have .....

My brother-in-law got this in Italy ...

It was a ceramic pumpkin (full size) that had large christams lights inside that would blink like crazy all different colors.

    It was really nice

Halloween is still relatively new here, so no vintage decoration for me.
As far as the same decoration in my street I'm pretty safe... my house is the only one that's decorated

Everyone Had The Same Halloween Decorations

I swear, when I was a kid, it seemed almost everybody in my neighborhood had some example of the exact same Halloween decorations. There were some more popular ones at Christmas, but they was definitely more variety. I ralize they are from earlier decades, but they just seemed ubiquitous by the 70's. I just put up my vintage Halloween decorations yesterday and I have to say I still love 'em. I realize its mainly for nostalgic reasons, but they still make me smile and pine for a simpler time.

Usually it was one of the many awesome flats put out by the wonderful Beistle Co.

Or it was one of the jointed numbers.

Or, my favorite, one of these blow molded gems-
