My goodness! This was just a way to start a conversation that didn't have to do w/ sports. I didn't know it would ruffle feathers! I don't have anything against sports, or people who like it. C'mon you guys, lighten up!

I wasn't trying to direct any of my post only at you...,
I had just Noticed many Comments in many different threads of Late, and did kinda take the Tittle of your Thread as "added on" to those. Just wanted to take the time to write my Opinions on the Subject, as others seemed deemed to write constant Jabs, that Obviously there is interest Here with certain Members, & it is fun for them to Talk about.

I agree....I'm NOT into football but I don't understand why the people that do like football are being made to feel like talking about sports is a bad thing and it's cluttering up General Buzz. I thought that's what the icon was for....to easily flag a sports thread so those who aren't interested don't have to open the thread (god forbid we open a thread we have no interest in and have to back out....) and can move along...as in "nothing to see here".

So...I'm not in trouble?

Only 4 of which are Football threads.
So thats 16 other related topics for General Buzz Fans, Who do Not like Football. I don't understand the Animosity towards the Football Discussions Now, even more so given the Icon. With all due respect to people Who Don't like the Threads, I just don't think the same respectful Courtsey is being given to the people that do. I find it very easy to skim past threads I am personally not fond of .

Ok, non-sports fans, let's face it. During football season, the General Buzz board is full of threads about players, games, scores, scandals and other football issues. We need to start topics that the rest of us can relate to.
