The contract job I've had for 16 months, that's been promising me for a year would be ongoing and for the last six months that I would be made a full-time, regular employee just informed me my last day is to be September 4.
I've turned down two other job offers because this semed like a great company to be with and then they spring this on me now, with a shrug.
Yeah, I'm more than a little mad, espeically because it's in this economy.
Anyway, I need to get something else lined up. I'm a technical and business writer, willing to do full-time, part-time, contract, or project work, either in the St. Louis area or telecommuting elsewhere.
If any of you have any leads or even ideas, I'd appreciate hearing about them.
