did the movie GymKata freak out anyone else but me?

greatest film in the history of films! have fond memories seeing this with my dad summer of 1985 he thought it was okay. as a 13 year old I loved it

The movie was horrible, but some of the stunts were great. It was like an old martial arts film crossed with marketing of what was popular at the time. Except the sound lined up with their lips. They were looking to promote other sports and this one chose gymnastics. I would watch it if it was on TV. I'll have to go look for the dvd now.

Gynkata is one of my all time favorite bad movies. I could seriously watch it aand laugh again and again.

I remember it. I think it starred Bart Conner or some gymnast back then. It used to come on TBS late at night when they had nothing else to put on. Hadn't thought of that movie in a long time.

Yeah it was Kurt Thomas and the chicks dad was the guy who played Julius on POTA

Gymkata was the 80's flick where the Gymnast guy learns martial arts and goes to another country where he has to compete in these games where you are hunted and killed, The part where he gets to that freakin' city with all the old people and crazy people always freaked the hell out of me, i'm talking about nightmares type of ****! You guys probably never even heard of this piece of crap from the 80's
