Cool is a rule, but sometimes bad is BAD.

Good move. Maybe the seller didn't think anyone cared about the inside of the box and it is all good. Best to have a peek for yourself, though. I've seen some otherwise nice boxes that were just trash on the inside. Not that big of a deal if you get it cheap and for display only, but if you are paying good money for it and it is for a collection, it's pretty important that it not be trashed inside.

Hope it looks good, Dude. I've seen plenty of the '78 boxes, in fact, one of my buddies has one on display that was his as a kid, but I've never seen a '67 one. That's a very cool looking lunchbox.

    1967 Superman Lunchbox - Vintage - eBay (item 270428686232 end time Jul-27-09 15:21:29 PDT)

    I kinda want to...but I don't know if it's worth it...please educate me.

P.S. I kinda know about the 78 Chris Reeve lunchbox...there's a lot of them...and I kinda gauged its price now...I'm getting one of those as well...I just don't have any idea about this older one and in that condition.

I appreciate any heads up on the matter.

    that one's pretty bad

The only thing that would concern me is no photos of the inside. That thing could be ate up on the inside of the box. I tend to think if it wasn't rusty as heck on the inside, there would be some shots of the inside.

I'd love to get some of one's I had as a kid, but I am sure of the prices on these things. It's a task list for another time. I have too many old and noew goodies to try and get money for.

I had breakfast at a Shoney's the other day on a job and to my surprise the lobby had some metal lunch boxes for sale. They were all Pez. Pez Fireman, Pez Policeman, etc. They had about 6 different ones. I almost bought one since I thought it was so odd tosee a metal lucnhbox again. And yes, they had the thermos.
