When I was out shopping for 4th of July stuff yesterday, I came across two of these little 99 cent goodies. Let's have some fun today. Imagine you are a screenwriter back in the 60's. Come up with a script idea for the Batman TV show for a special 4th of July episode. You have until midnight, I'll choose my two favorite tomorrow morning and each of those two "winners" will get a batmobile. Here's an example:
Gotham's Bell of Liberty has been stolen before the big 4th of July parade "Holy missing crack!" All signs point to the thief as being Batgirl. Batman and Robin don't believe it, neither does Barbara Gordon (wink). Using their detective skills they find out there is a new female criminal mastermind in Gotham "Belle Donna" (played by a young JoAnne Worley). She steals anything that has a bell (telephones, kids' bikes). Batman and Robin are caught by her henchmen and are tied to the Bell of Liberty in her secret lair. When it strikes 9 PM, the fireworks will start including the large rocket pointed right at the dynamic duo. Can Barbara prove her innocence and save them at the same time?
