We have a building on Campus with stained concrete and it is remarkable.

I have no clue what it costs or how difficult it is to pull off, but damn! it is pretty.

There are different colors that you can add to the grout, but I know for sure he bought Black grout without having to add the coloring.
I like black...but the thing is that I have some form of OCD...if I see a white spot on that black floor...it will drive me mad...mad I tell ya.

Use a few Carribian style patterned throw rugs to top it all off.

Since this is an outside shed, the tropics theme will give it a resort bungalow feel.
    Good points, Mike.

It's cheaper then wood, looks very nice and it lasts forever

    just layed down

    done! these are 18x18's
    Dude...that looks awesome!

I think I'm going that route for the cottage as well.

I mean...most of our entire house has brand new hardwood floors (even the kitchen)...it was expensive as heck...it looks great...but expensive.

By the cottage having tiles...it will be totally different from the norm...something different.

To be honest...it's not really a shed...it never was.

It was built with the idea of converting it to a guest room in the future.

Here you can see how far and deep the cottage is located from the back of the house...

    Why?

    Getting busted?

The cottage was built several years ago...it's still there...lol.

Nah...all my neighbors are tight...my next door neighbor is a cop...and he does the same thing...lol...no snitches around here...plus my backyard is really hidden...it's way back away from the street...and below street level....

    Besides...it's Oakland...where everyone does that here...lol.

BTW...this is no pre-fabricated lightweight shed...this was custom made from a master carpenter...it's heavy duty with earthquake retrofitting...it's safer than my house, lol.

Plus it's already has been fitted with electricity, plumbing with hot and cold water....cable...phone...etc...heck...it's even set up with a macerating plumbing unit...lol.
