Transformers' Revenge of the Fallen - getting bad reviews

Just got back from seeing the film with my son. I thought it was balls to the wall great! No pun intended...ahem. Honestly, I didn't think any of the dialog or metallic 'nut' shots was anything to be offended by. We see far worse on television on a daily basis. I think the approach is spot on correct. If you took this subject matter and got too serious with it, the whole concept would collapse on itself and you would have a campy film no one could sit through. I thought the effects were incredible and the humor throughout kept the film fresh. I have no idea why critics can't wrap their thought processes around this concept. Great movie and one I'll definitely get on DVD. Great summer flick! -

LeBeouf's character has actually toned his self down a Bit in this Film,.. rather than the 1st... Because he's kinda scene whatnot before... There is a New guy in the Film that does all the Screaming.Leave a comment:

I didn't like the first...the only thing worth a damn in that movie is super hot Megan Fox...but she's not naked in that movie...and LeBeouf...I can't stand that little skinny annoying screamer...that's all he does in all his movies...scream his dialogue.
Transformers 2 is a pass for me...I may eventually see it late night on cable someday...you know...when I'm drunk and eating stale pizza at 2 am and there's nothing else on...lol.Leave a comment:

Read Rolling Stone's Peter Travis review on the flick...he gives it ZERO stars...and...well...it's one of the funniest reviews ever...lol...
A sample:
"But I've said enough. Go ahead, have your senses senselessly pounded for two and a half hours. And, please, it's not that I hate robot movies. I stand second to no one in admiring the power and dark poetry that James Cameron brought to the first two Terminator films. I even have a dream that the great bots of movie history — Robby, Gort, HAL, R2-D2, C-3PO, the alien from Alien, the sentinels from The Matrix and all the Terminators — will one day march on Bay, who is the true Decepticon. Disguised as a human director, Bay is actually a destroyer of dreams."

I can't wait to see it!! I loved the first movie and I actually like the sound track to that. I am going to see it in about two weeks, but we're going to see it on IMAX.Leave a comment:
