Jon is running for the hills at this point....he even made a comment about standing on his own two feet now....he is finally being a man and not taking her crap any more. I still feel for the kids though. They bare being *****d out to the media for money. the parents have move numerous times since the show started and it is all on money made as the show got more popular.
I will say Kate is pretty hot these days though. It's amazing what surgery and a personal trainer will do for you.

My thoughts exactly.Actually, the show never really was too focused on the kids.
Even from the beginning the show focused on Jon and Kate and the daily struggles of trying to raise 8 kids (sextuplets and twins). They did do the show for the money and any kind of freebie they could obtain in the process.
My guess on what happened at some point wasn't an affair (even though that might come into play) is that Jon seemed like he really didn't want to be part of the show anymore; they made enough money from it to raise their kids and to call it quits. Meanwhile, Kate wants to ride this gravy train all the way to the end.
That is probably what started the beginning of the end and everything escalated from there.
....
The show seemed to veer off course about a season or so ago as they were clearly taking advantage of their fame and fortune with the show no longer focusing around the day to day struggles but buying new houses, going on posh vacations, and a bunch of other material items. That's when my wife started losing interest in the show but seems to be interested to see how this train wreck is going to turn out.Leave a comment:

yeah she looks like the biggest pain in the ***My husband got me watching this. The kids were always amusing. But Kate did start to annoy me after a while with her rapidly inflating ego. They're local celebrities where I live. At one point, they lived in the next town over, and the local news follows every move they make, even though they've moved a little further out of town. I met Kate once, and she just seemed unpleasant. I didn't realize at the time that they were from this part of PA, so I asked to make sure it was her. She really looked down her nose when she said yes. I just told her I liked the show and walked away. There was no way I was asking her for an autograph, she'd probably have bitten my head off! One of my husband's coworkers had a similar experience, earlier in the show's run and before the tabloid stuff got started. He said, "Are you Kate from Jon & Kate?" And she looked at him and said, "Yes. And no."(As in no pictures or autograph, although he didn't even ask for one.)

We get Telemundo and Univision with local programming over the air in Oklahoma City. I frequently check out the hot news ladies when I am channel surfing.

I like the show and have watched it for years. Yes, Kate is a raving bit@h but that is part of what is fun to watch. It's unfortunate(for the kids) that the whole world got to watch as their marriage unraveled but that is the price they pay for fortune and gloryLeave a comment:

Yep, we have cable. There's Univision and Telemundo. Even without cable, there's still channel 61, which is univision.Leave a comment:

I think what made it initially appealing to my wife at least was watching the day to day struggles of trying to raise 6 kids of the same age plus 2 others that are just slightly older. We have 3 kids and know how difficult it is just trying to raise 3 of different ages.

If caring about kids...any kid...makes us like night and day, then so be it. It bothers me that kids watch their parents being butchered and it bothers me that kids have to deal with the pain that comes from divorce. There's no way in hell you can compare an orphan who just had his parents butchered with machetes in front of him...with these two asss-clown parents and their silver-spooned brats.
They will survive and go on living.
You and I are like night and day...I could give a flying kite about this family.
You are preaching to the wrong person.
But hey...you can keep feeling sorry for them...I'll pass.

My only point was that divorce is always messy - nobody ever wins. People get hurt and they have a hard time recovering....especially kids - whether they are on tv or not.Last edited by Megospidey; Jun 24, '09, 2:54 PM.Leave a comment:

I should call TLC, because while joking with my wife about this, I have the names of 2 new shows for them:
"Kate & Her Hate, Plus 8"
and
"Jon Gets His Groove On".
But seriously, if these insipid people go away for good, it could only help their kids, and the rest of the world as well.
