That is a shame that she passed away relatively young. You can give her credit for paving the way for the sex-positive society we live in today. I can't imagine what it would be like living in a world where it is was somehow shameful or "wrong" to cuddle up to your spouse and enjoy some stimulating grown-up entertainment together.

Given how many adult actresses have crossed over into the mainstream in recent years (not to mention the other way round with "leaked" celebrity vids), she probably was a pioneer and ahead of her time.

I don't mean this as any disrespect to you and it's not directed at you but there is NOTHING positive about the Porn industry. It's disgusting and vile. How many young women and men who we never heard have been involved in this use and abuse industry who have died of aids or have been mixed in with the drug culture.

How many Kids today are getting into things they shouldn't because of many of those scumbags who made this seem cool. How many young women get mixed into this industry with dreams of stardom only to become lowly Fluffers and get pumped and dumped....and go home if they're lucky messed up....

Sorry but if i introduced Porn into my marriage my Wife would kill me. Plus I don't need to have that garbage in my house so my kids can accidently find it and get addicted to it.....

Remember that's someone's daughter that guys jerk off to...i wouldn't want that to be my kid.

I have definitely heard of her. Just a little bit before my time...., but I have heard the name before. I may have even seen her on some older videos and not even realized it. One thing is for sure and that is that it is sad that she had to go at such a young age. RIP

If the rumours were true, that box would have had to have been made in 1965 -- which we all know it's from the 70's.

The fact that Marilyn was the mom on the Ivory Snow box is absolutely true. The photo shoot took place over a year before she started doing porn films with the Mitchell Brothers. It took a long time before the boxes actually made it to store shelves, and the Mitchells had no idea that Chambers was going to be on the boxes until after they finished filming BEHIND THE GREEN DOOR, at which point she informed them. Needless to say, they were very happy to hear this info, it really helped their promotion of the film.

The urban legends are the ones that say Marilyn was the baby on the box, and that Brooke Shields was the baby (Brooke did do some ad work for Ivory Snow but she never appeared on the actual boxes)

I believe the mom on the Ivory Snow box is actually actress Cybil Shepard. She started her career as a product spokesmodel and it really does look like her. I don't know for sure though.
