So...my sister in law says that she found a fast way to Kenya. She beat us by 2 hours via Emirates...but she's paying $200 more per adult. It will only take her 22 hours from here while it will take us 24 hours. I think I'd rather keep my $400 for spending money there.
I'm with you. I'd rather have the extra cash to spend on vacation
Sammy
I hope they serve margaritas on the plane. That will keep me happy. You will be surprised at how well behaved the boys are. I just have to give them "the eye." They are highly aware of the Wrath of Mom.

I do that every night. That's how I get to Ape City!!
We bought our tix but we won't leave for another five months or so. Our two hour layover just got shortened by one hour. So I guess we fly to Atlanta, rush to our next airplane...fly to Dakar, Senegal, refuel for an hour and a half (don't get off the plane though)...and then another 7 hours to Nairobi. So we'll be stuck on one airplane for 17 hours.
How exciting for you Jessica. I hope you have a wonderful trip. Do you have an African American Dinah Mite or AJ? Actually, I am amazed you would consider anything but an ape, come to think of it...
Depending on where the layover was I'ld tempting to take the long layover.Ilove to travel aand see new things , its surprising what you could take in a short amount of time.Safe flying, where ever you are heading.
Both sound pretty brutal. My answer would depend on where the layover was, if I was taking kids along, and how old they are.
10, 7 and 4. All boys.
I just heard we are going with the second option. I just want to get strapped in a plane and not think. I hate wandering at airports, especially with kids. It's like herding cats, although my boys are pretty well behaved.
