I just the fact that the main baddie looks like Lord Dredd from Captain Powers thou the Japanese Spidey predates that.

I agree. Theres just something about it that makes it cool. It's pretty cheesy and defiantely not accurate, but that doesn't matter. It's just so much fun to watch. I hope that it eventually makes its way to DVD

That's pretty cool, how tall is it? I'm guessing by the inaccurate colours that this is an unauthorized version. At any rate, it's still a nice piece. There is some very nice vintage merchandise from the TV show. I'd love a Leopardon Jumbo Machinder, but that would cost big bucks (well into four figures, especially a boxed one).

I've been waiting for a U.S. release. This show spawned some incredibly cool merchandise. I have around 9 pieces in my collection related to the Toei TV. show. This one actually just arrived today. This is actually a Korean model...

It was a knockoff series of Shogun Warrior figures (generic "GIANT ROBOT" type card) that sat on their shelves for almost five/six years. There was Mazinga and all the rest, one day I just noticed that Spider-Mans robot was one of them. Somehow I still have him...

I've always wanted the 10" popy version of Spidey based on this show.

I do have a little diecast figure of his giant robot that I found at Toys R Us in the 1980s.

I just noticed the new Tonner Spiderman dolls look quite a bit like the Japanese TV Spidey.

honestly, can't remember. However the seller was the owner/operator of Showa Video themselfs.
the Episode are in Japanese, no English dub or subtitles. I like how the main villian look like Lord Dredd from Captain Powers and the Soldiers of the Future.

They also sent me a flyer with what the had for sell. I also got from they a Filipino Batman Spoof Movie called Batguy and the Robbers. It was made in early 1990s to spoof the Tim Burton Batam Movies but they made all the Heroes and Villians Look like the 1966 Adam West Version. It is fun to watch However the dialog is 35% English and 65% Filipino.
how much did you pay for them on ebay?
