I know you're a nice person, Hector, because you are, and it comes through in most of your posts. But sometimes, you throw me for a loop and come out with very harsh judgements. I'm certainly not perfect myself, and I don't mean to seem condescending or preachy, because I can be unkind at times as well. But I do try to be compassionate and understanding, even if I sometimes fall shy of the mark. Anyway. Enough said.
Translation: Kindness, compassion and forgiveness are worthy only of scorn and ridicule.
You are right.
I'm just a bad boy sometimes.
I'm sure if I saw the girl in person...I would react differently...but online it comes across as almost...well...not too smart on her part...and ammunition for me.
Hey, I was six years old at one point...and it NEVER crossed my mind to pour gasoline on my hair to rid of something that didn't belong there.
Clearly, what you would or would not have done at some point in your life is the standard of measurement as to whether a fellow human being deserves 1) compassion or 2) ridicule.
I don't expect you to agree Hector now that I've seen your stance,
but I'm surprised you're so easily dismissive here...
---people make bad judgements with no malicious intent-------sometimes with horrid consequences.
They are educated (or not educated) to think that way----and I don't
blame them for that---I have compassion for them....they certainly blanked
on some vital info that could have saved themselves and their loved ones
from so much grief.
Now, if one's stupidity causes one to hurt someone ELSE than themselves, believe me--- I think they should be held accountable---the world shouldn't suffer for the lack of one's education or otherwise.
But, man, when people hurt only themselves by accident---by a
foolish mistake, I just can't be "cold" when there's no real reason to be.
