It's not the same.

A baby sitter is a person that is hired to care for your kids ......
Their only reason for being there is to make money.

This is absolutely untrue. It's another case of snap judgement, and of the media -- who has a vested interest in keeping this falsehood alive -- making innuendos, spreading half-truths, and taking things out of context.

In 2005, Presley was considered as a witness for Jackson's trial after he had been charged (for a second time) with child molestation. The media took Presley out of context reporting that she had said "I saw things I couldn't do anything about". Presley then released a statement saying that she never saw her then-husband engage in improper behavior with children". Jackson was found not guilty of the charges.

I'll be glad to provide documentation and sources for these statements.

Meanwhile, let's apply some logic and reasoning to the contention that Lisa Marie "left him because he wouldn't stay away from kids". This would have been between the two cases, the 1993 and 2003 cases, because the pair were married in 1995.

Where are these children that supposedly "Michael couldn't stay away from"? Why have they never come forward to make accusations or press charges against the singer? Why did DA Sneddon, fervent for Jackson's prosecution, never investigate or even mention such alleged incidents? Why did Sneddon not pursue these instances as further evidence of Michael's misdeeds?

The answer is that they never happened, as Presley has avowed.

People are far too quick to make snap judgements about Jackson, with no evidence, a load of absurd and contradictory accusations, and clear monetary motivations on the part of demonstrably crooked parents, simply because Jackson is "weird and creepy".

So how does a kid describe a distinguishing mark on Jackson if something wasn't going on? There's an "oops, you're in the bathroom" glance, but I don't think anyone could pick up on such a detail in that instance.
No doubt those kids were just as used by the parents for a quick payout, but if it walks like a duck...

In 1995, it was already well known (through public statements) that Jackson had the skin disease vitiligo. The Chandler boy was also a friend and would have known of the condition. It does not take much reasoning power on the part of the father (who orchestrated the entire case; more on this later) to deduce that the condition would have affected Jackson's private parts as well.

I readily recognize that sleeping in the same bed with a child is not normal.

It's also not criminal.

A lot of the things each of us do is not "normal" compared to mainstream American culture. That does not perforce make us criminals. One does not follow logically from the other.

Either he molested children or he didn't. Saying he "isn't normal" because he slept in the same room, or even the same bed, with a child does not offer up evidence that he molested that child.

If you look into the facts of the case, which I note you are not interested in doing, you'll find that Jackson is not guilty of any of the contradictory and absurd charges against him.

MJ settled out of court in 1993 because his lawyers recommended it. The civil case would have gone to criminal court, resulting in the singer testifying against himself among other conflicts. Part of the conditions of the settlement with the Chandler family were that they acknowledge the alleged abuse never took place.

I'll be glad to post an analysis of the 1993 Chandler case at another time.
