I hate thier new page system! i've been opting out of using Beta for months. but now it's permanent and i can't get it to work when i go there. my ebay days may very well be cut short.

Ebay has been changing the look of their pages for years, and it always ends up being worse. But as mentioned, there needs to be some reason for the tech guys to justify their jobs, so I guess this is how.

It's ridiculous, it is...mine has reset to the default setings twice now and i've had to rearrange the thing back to the setup I preffered, eliminating all the extra crap they put on like icons & running totals- last thing I need is a running total of my purchases on Ebay for my wife to see!

Tech people can never leave well enough alone, just have to "upgrade" things to justify their being around. Between the cost of just listing on Ebay and the cost of trying to ship it now that the Post Office jacked things up again (and will again this May), I'm not sure I'll still use it as much. Besides, there is so much stuff on there anymore. Just when I think I came across something different or oddball, I check Ebay and there's like 10 of them in the Ebay stores for next to nothing. Pfui!

If ebay is so great, why don't they have an option to have the page set up like the old way ?

This new design sucks and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

I haven't read one positive review about it.

i think everybody's seller page is changing today AND I HATE IT!! they cant just leave stuff alone.

There is no page options on mine.

I also noticed when I click on a page, on the status bar it says About Blank ... and takes a long time to load.

It never said about blank before... what's that ? spyware ?

I want it to show all automatically everytime I come back

I know. I really dislike it as well, Mike.

I'm not sure if this will help or sure that you haven't already tried it, but there is a "page options" tab that you can click on toward the top of the right hand side of the "my ebay" page.

Yeah the fee's do my head in too,ebay,paypal,who's next for a slice of the pie?

I am not bothered at all by the hidden ID,it's just you may be bidding against a friend or fellow member here.

i just cant stand all their darn fees and the fact that sellers cant leave negative and are basically powerless against obnoxious buyers. the hidden id stuff doesnt bother me.

I have to admit there are some issues with Ebay. I don't mind not knowing who's bidding on what . I like the privacy as a buyer. I can't tell you how many emails or message's I would get if I won something. Everything from Insults to " would you be willing Flip that item to me for slightly more than you won it for." " No I would not like to as its something I want, hence why I am bidding on it to begin with. " LOL. As for selling I haven't sold anything in a long time so I am not sure if it's blocking the bidders from the seller. I like it being a bidder/buyer though.

I actually think I am going to give Auctiva a try. I have some stuff to sell and I have a pretty good sense of how to price it so it is fair to everyone.
