I'm going to turn all the lights off, and hide in the House...get drunk, and watch "Bram Stokers Dracula."

The agency I work for doesn't want me to dress up, because it draws too much attention when I'm sitting in a classroom, so I'll be spending my day reminding the kids I work with to behave so they can participate in the Halloween parties. Last night was trick-or-treat, so I wore my Jedi costume outside to give out candy. No one seems to realize that there are homes on my end of the block, so they don't come down and ring doorbells. Tonight is my father-in-law's birthday, so he's coming over to watch scary movies. Tomorrow is the party with friends, so we'll be heading down to York for that. I convinced my husband to dress up this year!

    ill be working

djing on a friday night as usual, but this will also be my last

after 20 years in the industry im calling it a day and retiring

20 years in the clubs, around 20 or 30 ?
    3 radio stations
    dj'd in 4 countries
    worked in recording studio

    list goes on

got a little bit messed about by my entertainment manager(money matters) and ive also lost the buzz

so no trick or treat for me, but the girls do tend to come out in fancy dress on halloween so that should be fun

    yeah hanging up the headphones

but have a great halloween everyone and thanks for donating it to us here in the uk... it can be great fun at times

in reality theres little trick or treat taking place now here, its just an excuse for gangs to go on the rampage wrecking cars and homes gangs of between 10 and 100 kids to adults go on the rampage, having egg fights which then just turns into mini riots, lots of folks get hurt and its one of the busiest nights for the police and medical staff

but the kids come by and knock the door and thats always fun

sounds like it would be worth a trip cross country

But my and my niece are going to watch all 6 star wars movies ... we live out where nobody comes so not worth the effort and all the local parties are full of goobers

My Dad's birthday is on Halloween so we will be going over to my parents house Friday night for cake and ice cream. My kids are all too old for trick or treating now but I'm sure we'll help pass out candy at my parents house.

Well, since I'm a teacher, Halloween is an all day affair for me. I will be decorating our back room for The Spook House for most of the day. Then I go to the Halloween parade at one of the schools, Back to my center for the spook house and party. The kids get to participate in the spook house and they have different parts. Then I go home and watch movies and answer the doorbell. I for one WANT to get Trick Or Treaters. I have the windows decorated and I have a light-up pumpkin, so I hope kids will spot my house.

Disconnect the doorbell so the dogs don't get too crazy, put out a bowl of candy and hide downtown until all the kiddies are gone. My wife is not a fan of Halloween and I'm a fan of the bar so we compromise.
