My wife and friends all tell me I'm weird for liking the burger listed below, but after reading all this, I know now I'm pretty tame.
My favorite burger is one at Fuddruckers called the Southwest burger or something like that (I don't get to eat there often. None around very close anymore). It's got monteray cheddar, bacon and gaucomole on it. I also put a little pico de galo and salsa on it to bring it all home. Now to me, that's good eating, but they think I'm nuts.

Yep, peanut butter/banana and toasted Tomatoe sandwichs were pretty normal form me growing up. I always thought everybody also ate PB & cinnamon/suger sandwiches too, but aparently most people have never tried this. I also really dig PB & bacon, and PB & dill pickle (sliced thin) too. I've never tried PB, bacon and dill pickle but I bet thats pretty good too.Leave a comment:

I grew up on Peanut butter/ banana and tomatoes/ mayo sandwiches. Whenever I went to visit my grand mother that's about all I would get to eat. Sometimes she would add cucumber to the T&M sandwishes. Good stuff.Leave a comment:

I like a porkchop (with bone) sandwich and loading it up with red beet horse-radish.
That's a good sandwich.Leave a comment:

Not really a sandwich, but it involved bread. When I was a kid we would take Wonderbread, slather it with butter and cover the butter with sugar.Of course this was back in the 70's before they worried about too much sugar for kids. The best part was the plateful of loose sugar after you finished.
my kids do the PB and Banana, but they drizzle it with honey.Leave a comment:

My first wife used to take two Little Debbie brownies, slather them with tuna salad, and make a sandwich out of them

I call both of those combinations a sandwich with absolutely no thought that anyone might think it even comment-worthy (however, I am from Oklahoma so most of y'all will need to take my assertion with a "grain of salt".).Leave a comment:
