I love Batman, one of my faves. But I just can't picture him beating Wolverine

BEATING him isn't impossible; especially if you're supposed to be one of the top HTH fighters of your universe. (If not THE best.... but I think Bronze Tiger is SUPPOSED to be more skilled than Bats....) Keeping him DOWN is the problem. That super-regeneration thing is tough to overcome. Even toxins will be purged in a few seconds.

It HAS been theorized in the comics that an immediately fatal blow MIGHT do him in. (Good luck finding the vulnerable spot! Mystique was gonna go for a throat cut.) But Bats wouldn't try for a fatal hit.

Wolverine is a Fantastic Comicbook character.
But lets face the facts. The Guy is an Idiot,.. that charges in with little for-thought on the battle,.. & often lets his anger get the best of him. We all Know that Anger leads to Hate,.. in which Hate is uncontrolable ,.. in which leads to the Darkside. ... Or atleast thats what Lucas was pitching. Bottom line is,.. Batman is way too flipp'in smart for Wolvie.

I think it was Chuck Dixon who made the comment that if Bruce has the slightest idea he's coming, Logan's going down. If Wolvie gets the drop on him he'd win. But nobody gets the drop on Batman.
