We lost one of the greats. Jean-Claude Mézières was best known as the co-creator of Valerian and Laureline. Most Americans ar eprobably more familair with Valerian through the film, or through the visual influence the strip had on George Lucas and the world of Star Wars, but Mézières was a brilliant artist and visual storyteller. He will be missed, but his legacy endures.
