I liked Jeannie better. She was fun and mischievous. You also didn't want to cross her. She wasn't dumb. She was just a little naive and way out of touch after having being stuck in that bottle so long. Now, Morticia was cooler than all of them and Gomez was way better than either Darrin.

Yeah, I can see that. I never disliked Jeannie, but I was always more of a fan of Sam's more sarcastic, knowing nature. Jeannie was more bubbly and excitable. Nothing wrong with either. Gomez and Morticia are undoubtedly the best couple, however!

First Darrin. I found Darrin 2 a bit smarmy. I think they were both a little too controlling.

both women are crazy gorgeous but Darrin for sure. Jeannie was too quick to over react and blink Tony into a moat of crocodiles!
but the thing that never made sense to me even as a kid was why would anyone want their witch/genie wife to not use their powers???????? must've been a budget thing lol

I must admit I think Dick York was a better foil for the magic shenanigans. By the time Dick Sargent came along, he seemed quite a bit calmer, and the focus was less on how exasperated Darrin would get.

Darrin for me, too! I grew up watching Bewitched re-runs. I remember there was a time it was playing up to 5 times a day! WGN and TBS were a few of the channels that used to show it constantly. It was like "Friends." I had a huge crush on Elizabeth Montgomery. I even wrote her a fan letter when I was teen-ager, and she sent me an autographed photo.

I suspect the flying was done with the same crane technique used for outdoor productions of It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman in the '60s.

It was a 1970 episode. And yes, I know the flying pretty much became stock shots on Adventures of Superman after that injury, which is a shame. This isn't Chris Reeve-level, but it's not bad!

That looks like an early 70's episode. Adventures of Superman was limited on flying stunts after the first season episode that injured George.
