I don't see how the teen girl Iron Man idea is any worse than the teen boy ironman.

Because teen boy Iron man would actually be a young Tony Stark. 😜

Yes, Rhody was my other thought...I believe he was Iron man for a little while during the "Demon in a bottle" storyline .

I think we've all seen Infinity War by now, so I thought it might be cool to discuss what we think will happen to our favorite characters...or what we'd "like" to see happen going forward into Phase 4. Some things we know will happen and characters will survive because they still have movies coming up(Spiderman, G.O.T.G., or Doctor Strange 2)...or because of what the Actors have stated publicly. Chris Hemsworth has said he's still interested in playing Thor, so He'll probably return. For me the biggest delima and bummer is both Chris Evans & Robert Downey Jr. have said Avengers 4 is their last movie. So...here are some of my thoughts and wishes.


Captain America: I feel the best way to handle replacing Cap is to continue following the Winter Soldier storyline and have Bucky step in for Steve. They've already started his path to redemption and they should keep it going. But don't kill cap! Instead, have Thanos send him tumbling back it time just like in the comics except...Thanos is the reason, instead of a brainwashed Sharon Carter shooting him with a "magic" time bullet. It's too soon to recast Chris Evans, it would be to jarring at this point. But sending Steve into the past, gives us time to get over it...plus it stays pretty faithful to the original story. What do you think?


Ironman: Ok, my next idea will probably be a bit more controversial, as was the original Ironman story I got it from. Anybody remember the Ironman story where the Avengers went into the past and brought back a teenage Tony Stark? Well, I think this is a decent solution because like Evans...R.D.J. is practically irreplaceable. But by casting a teen Actor...they don't have to try and find an adult Actor to replace him. Again...I think it would be less jarring.
