The irony of this is...it will STILL be a cartoon. Doesn't matter if it's hand drawn animation or computer animation.

Too much CGI, too many explosions, too many slow motion acrobatics...pass.

    I'll stick with the classic.

You mean the Morgan Freeman version with the Robin who didn’t have an English accent and wore leather pants?

Morgan Freeman could play solitaire and maybe I’d go see it twice. I remember liking him in that movie, whatever it was about....

    Yes, Flynn is Robin Hood.

Agreed: This new one looks watchable and is Redbox or Netflix.

Olivia de Havilland is still a surviving member from that cast, she's going on 102 years old, and from what I understand she lives a private secluded life in France.

Yes, Flynn will always be Robin Hood to me.

That’s one great movie: the acting, the action, the choreography, the sets and the technicolor! Always amazes when I see it.

Like King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, a movie similar to this new Robin Hood...it died at the box office.

Nope, he wasn't. The figure didn't bear the slightest resemblance to Errol. The hair style was completely off, the sculpt had blue eyes instead of brown, and the beard was too big.

Mind you, I'd like to see an Errol Flynn style Robin Hood figure done correctly. Even if the likeness isn't 100% accurate, I'd take a close enough figure, providing the price is right.

OYE...Looks like a BAD attempt to gel The Kingsman meets Assassin's Creed.

I don't understand WHY folks feel the need to modernize classics with flashy effects to make them appear kewl...LOTR Films have proven that you don't need to sacrifice content to draw an audience.

Robin Hood & King Arthur should be easy Box Office wins without descending into visual drivel.
