Terrible episode tonight...Crappy villain, Iris seems to believe she's the boss of everyone now, stupid counseling bit, hallway chats are still a thing, Wally has another bad haircut, and Barry's new suit gets roont.


On the plus side- Nothing about Joe's lovelife, Caitlin wore shorts, & Gypsy cleans up nice.

I thought all his scribbling could be related to the Anti-Life Equation...and...him encountering Apokolips and/or New Genesis while in the Speed Force is not to far fetched since they exist just outside the Speed Force:

I think it's the Thinker. He's the big bad of the season. But he did look like Metron.

I thought Barry's symbols looked Kryptonese.

I do like the new suit, but I still find several of the characters annoying.

I was also thinking Metron because of the chair, but it's probably The Thinker.

Those Symbols that Barry was sketching could have been New God Symbols...and it might have been Metron at the end...Just a guess.

I hope they do away with all the angst and just have fun with it. last season was such a downer. who was the villain revealed at the end?

I thought it was a New Gods sighting, perhaps Orion, but it wasn't. Can't remember who it was supposed to be.

Felt like the earlier seasons, minus any angst from Barry. Love the new suit, and I hope they keep it this way!

Personally, I was glad they didn't try to drag it out... even if it sounds ridiculous for Cisco to say things like "I wanted an excuse to bring Barry back!" (Do you really need an excuse to rescue your friend from an eternity in the speed force prison?) In fact, I wish they toned down the Iris "Keep Running" melodrama.

Cisco was optimistic. Kid Flash was having fun. The Incredible Hulk-thing going on with Caitlin's Killer Frost seems like it has potential. Flash has a cool new suit. And the next episode looks like a lot of fun.

I say let's just forget season 3 ever happened and move on...

I wondered why they just didn't go get another Barry from another Earth. I mean, they've had 4 different H.R.s so far!
The weird alphabet will payoff down the road...was that the Interlac writing of the Legion of SuperHeroes?
Looks like a lighter tone for Barry this season. Nifty new suit.

Is it lighthearted like way back in the beginning? Has Cisco chilled some? Time travel themes ceased?

Because I really started hating it...and didn't watch one single episode last season.

I may give it another shot but only if my three questions are answered by...yes, yes, and yes...

Personally, i felt they hired Rusell T Davies to create the laziest easy button ever. I'm ok with getting everything back to normal but wow, no drama, no conflict.
