I absolutely love the painted covers on the 70's Marvel magazines, especially the horror ones. I've been slowly starting to collect them recently.

I like the painted covers, too. Legion of Monsters #1 reminds me of The Monster Squad film.

Did these titles feature the Golem, Living Mummy, and Zombie, as well? And I recall Marvel even tried The Scarecrow as a horror character.

The full contents of each issue are indexed at the Grand Comic Book Database (GCD for short)http://www.comics.org/series/2125/

The link takes you to the series page, and you can click on each issue for an overview of the contents from there.

How are the stories in these?
I assume the interior artwork is black and white?
I have that Marvel Premiere somewhere...

also, on a related note, how is the Tales of the Zombie title? I've never read any of those. If it's good, is there a worthwhile omnibus or collection that recreates the artwork faithfully?
