^I thought the same thing about the Time Wraiths, but my son pointed out Barry was just fixing Reverse-Flash mucking with the proper timeline to begin with. So who knows?

Now he won't have been raised by Joe so how does that reset the table for Iris, Cisco, Caitlin or for that matter Harrison Wells? To me, they just wiped that slate clean.Season one and two never happened now. It's got to be confusing w, being Barry. I definitely love the show, but it is taking on a bit of Groundhog's Day treatment in this constant need to perform a do over.
The way THE FLASH is being handled, not really sure if Barry's actions at the end would necessarily have wiped the slate clean so much as created yet another Earth/timeline in the Multiverse; remember, he ran through another dimensional breach as he was headed off to save his Mom. Barry watching himself fade at the end definitely signifies that THAT Barry's existence was gone from whatever new, parallel earth/timeline he may've created by his actions. I will agree the The Speed Force is likely none too happy with him and he will probably have to deal with his own Time Wraiths in Season 3.

This show just leaves me so satisfied, and seeing John Wesley Shipp as the original speedster as I always thought he should be....left a happy feeling for the little boy in me.

Barry committed a pretty big "time sin" in the finale, so I'd assume the Black Wraiths will be after him. Plus I'm sure the Speed Force is not his buddy now.

Yep, Zoom is definitely coming back as the Black Flash. Has to.

We talk up the finale over on Super Mates:

Does this clip mean that Hunter Zolomon will become The Black Flash down the road???

While get what everyone is talking about regarding the "quasi incest" aspect, I offer this in rebuttal.
I'm not disputing her looks...she's hot...but annoying is annoying...

^Holy Crap. Was he supposed to confirm that so early? I thought it would be a huge con announcement.

Marva - maybe we're going to get Raynor instead of Scott? He would fit the different Earths quite well.

"For me, personally, as an actor, Henry Allen was rather closed-ended, he was there for a purpose, he served his purpose, it was time for him to die," Shipp shared. "The fact that I'm now getting to morph into an entirely different character that is so important to the Justice Society of America, which also bleeds into 'Legends of Tomorrow,' he's such an important character to this whole world -- it just opens up enormous possibilities for me as an actor going forward, and the challenge for me, having played Henry, is that I now get to create an entirely different character going forward.
this quote is from the interview of John Wesley Shipp. You can read the complete interview at Comic Book Resources. I am glad that he stated that he is going to be in both The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

Still Shipp in the costume rocked!

Now as for next season...FLASHPOINT? Really. I wish we'd just get through with this death of his mom stuff. Plenty of other directions to go, but they just keep going backwards.
You hit the nail on the head...I was rooting for Zoom too, lol.

Not that I want him to kill innocent people...but both Joe and Iris annoy me to no end.

Did you notice how many, "Excuse me, Barry, can I talk to you for a second?" moments, we had throughout the episode? Poor Barry, I felt like he was being questioned and interrogated by those two to ad nauseam proportions. Every time Barry stepped out...there went either Joe or Iris...giving him their supposed righteous advice, because to them...Barry needs constant guidance. They imprisoned him against his will...WHICH WAS A BAD MOVE, BECAUSE IN THE END...IT WAS BARRY WHO TURNED OUT TO BE RIGHT. Barry needs a moment to breathe and cry...there goes Joe. Barry needs a moment to himself to think and ponder...there goes Iris.

That's why I was cheering for Zoom...to eliminate both those two annoying people, seriously, lol.

I also wanted to slap Cisco...still cracking jokes during Barry's grieving moments.

    Aside from that...fun episode...
