Also interesting that Cisco's powers differ from the JLA Detroit era Vibe. Do you think he's going to gain the power to break dance eventually?

I didn't realize that Tony Todd had been cast as Zoom. With the Candy Man in that role, I'd lean towards The Black Flash.

Perhaps with the introduction of Wally West and all the time travel shenanigans on this show, this could be a future/alt version of Wally if Barry can't keep the troubled teen on the righteous path. Might be a mash-up of Daniel West, Iris' brother in the current comics, who becomes the Reverse Flash (who is different than Zoom).

Although Barry has also been the Black Flash as well.

King Shark, Atom Smasher, and Jay wow ! Earth 2 must have a lot more villans and Superheroes than Earth 1. I think that Zoom is Earth 2 Eddie.
I wonder if we will see Rival (Jay's Zoom ) or Johnny Quick, because Jesse Quick is supposed to show up this season ?

^Yeah, I bet he's Earth 2 Barry. And he's definitely evoking the look of the Black Flash.

maybe it will be a big swerve and be the Barry Allen of Earth 2, or maybe Earth 2 Barry's dad.

    Any theories on Zoom?

    Is he the Black Flash?

or the current Reverse Flash in the comics, Daniel West?

The Firestorm/Tokamak effects were really well done as well. Great episode, with some honestly surprising twists!

I thoroughly enjoyed last night's episode...I knew Joe's plan to keep Barry in the dark about Wells' "reappearance" wouldn't last long but, I didn't think it would be that fast.

Their CGI team did an amazing job on King Shark.

The visual efx people REALLY knocked it out of the ballpark with King Shark!! He looked completely bad-arse and about as real as a two-legged air-breathing shark could look. Not to beat a horse, but just the effects on King Shark alone put to shame a lot of the vfx I saw on Supergirl last night. I wonder if the same effects houses are handling all of the DC TV properties....

    Andrew Kreisberg.

"King Shark came from...we actually put him in the comic book adaptation because we said, 'No one's every going to let us do this, and we're never going to be able to do this,' since we weren't going to be using the Squad anymore," Kreisberg told reporters during a screening of tonight's episode of The Flash last week. "We were talking about it and it was really Todd Helbing who was just like, 'Yeah, let's do it.' It was a very expensive thirty seconds of the show. Our visual effects team are the best and they really love challenges like this. We're like, 'Can we do King Shark?' Armen Kevorkian, who is the head of our team, got so excited. It was probably the thing that he sent me the most, 'Check it out. Here's how it's coming.' I literally can't believe that. That's beyond feature quality. They realize it so well.

It was just fun for us, because obviously we can't afford to do an entire King Shark episode, so the idea that he's one of Zoom's minions," Kreisberg said. "He said, 'Zoom sent me here to kill you.' He's just the latest in another line, which does mean that there is a King Shark on Earth-1, now that we've designed him."
So yeah it is King Shark but from Earth 2.

With Captain Cold already an established Cold-themed villain on the Flash, and Sisko being the person who invented the technology, one might speculate that her powers might derive from some mishap involving those already established elements?

Or perhaps this is an alternate earth version of her that we glimpsed in the past season finale?
