I missed the 1st issue but just got the 2nd...I like it but it already reminds me of Alex Ross' "Project Superpowers" (a group of Golden Age heroes are missing since the end of WWII and revived today) and "Watchmen" (Blue Blade's death reminded me of the Comedian's). Sorta like a been there, done that....but still some nice story beats along the way.
He did warpsmith with Alan Moore and since then the only thing I can remember him doing is the first issue of "Gloal Frequancy".Other than inking duties on stuff he's been very, very quiet.....Loved his stuff on "Miricleman" and "The V.C.s" though.
Not bad first issue, thought alot of the characters seemed more DC based than marvel. Is nice to see Gary Leach back in the comic frame...shame its only inking...loved his early marvelman stuff .
I didn't realize Gary Leach was inking! I like Chris Weston's stuff quite a bit on it's own, but this seals the deal for me.
Leach inked Hitman and gave the book a pretty slick look over John McCrea's pencils (which I believe generally have a fairly scratchy energy to them).
^^^ They are all old Timely characters. I really need to get my butt to the LCS for this and BPRD1946. And, KW, I really like the designs of some of those guys.

So did anyone else pick up this series? I was thrilled with it.The story has a good solid start and the art is just awesome! I love that Marvel is using their Golden age heroes....
When I was reading this all I thought was Joe(T-Bolt)making a list of all the customs he was going to do..
