The Spider

[Earth 2 Chris]

Seeing Alex Ross having such a prominent role at Dynamite makes me wish that DC had taken him up on his redesigns for the DCU as seen in his "Rough Justice" sketchbook. I betcha the titles wouldn't have had to have gone under the DCnU relaunch if they had...His ideas for "Shazam!" alone we're better than anything that DC has cobbled together for the characters in recent memory...

DC was nuts to let Ross walk away. Leftover 90s Marvel and Image guys are apparently more appealing to DiDio.

Contrast Moonstone's recent Spider.

That's actually a cool design. I don't blame them from swiping it from the serial.

That's not a nod to the serial, its a flat out copy of the design.

Love Francesco Francavilla's art, be great to see him on Batman regularly. His Black Beetle is coming to Dark Horse soon.

And design of course.

With nod

I'm finding John Cassaday's cover disappointing. His s usually the one that pops from the rest.

[The Toyroom]

The obligatory Alex Ross cover?
