If it was up to me WONDER WOMAN would be a smash character
ALL around... that means WW would be the strongest character
in the DCU ....TIED with Supes... and she'd have a huge hit box office movie too!

It comes down to nostalgia and the "popularity contest" for me... since
I was a kid, I always felt that WW was the female doppelganger
for Superman... I believe that WW, because of her place in the almigty
DCU ...PLUS the fact that she's got the distinction of being female
deserves the highest respect (and therefore fictional power).

Okay... Shazam is powerful, but it's more mystical... and Batman is powerful but it's more human qualities that assist Bats...
just give it up for Supes and WW I say.

Aquaman was a huge impact on me due to his 60s show and the SF...
I'm still convinced he should be able to best even GL or MM...
I know it's crazy... but that's how I'd prefer it.

As far as the MU and this kind of discussion goes... it's nice to see
"big gun" CAPTAIN AMERICA really get his due now with his appearances
in his own movie and AVENGERS...now it's time for WONDER WOMAN
to kick some butt, in and OUT of the fictional DCU!

    My opinion?

Batman vs. Wonder Woman: Gotta give it to Wonder Woman this time.
Given the stipulation that Batman is sans gadgets, it's no contest. Batman would get in several good shots, but as he's human, he'll tire out eventually, and allow WW to clobber him. If Batman had his gadgets, my guess would be WW would still win, as she's been trained as a warrior pretty much since birth by an entire island of warriors. Throw in her superpowers, and her magic lasso, and Batman's chalking this one up as a loss.

Captain Marvel vs. Wonder Woman: This one would be a much closer battle, but I'd have to give it to WW as well.
Superpower-wise, both draw their abilities from the same source, more or less, and as Captain Marvel is supposed to rival Superman, both characters are pretty evenly matched in that department.
Fighting skills, edge goes to WW, as CM doesn't quite have her experience or decades of training, so he'll lack subtler skills WW would possess in her fighting style. However, with Solomon's wisdom, CM can remember watching WW's previous battles, and work up reasonably good counter-attacks and defenses to compensate.
On a psychological level, CM would probably hold back a bit, though, as his character is a proper gentleman, and the very idea of hitting a woman would make him feel uneasy. WW doesn't have that problem, but she probably would put him in a submission hold until he gives up and says "SHAZAM!". WW should probably get out of the way at that point, lest she be struck by the thunderbolt (which would make a pretty good story - What If WW was struck by SHAZAM's thunderbolt? Would she get his powers? What would her outfit look like if she did?)

Superman vs. Batman: Superman. No question.
Batman's got it over Superman when it comes to fighting skills, experience, and equipment, including a chunk of Kryptonite. However, Superman can zap Batman from Earth orbit with his heat vision, or clobber Batman at super-speed and split before the Kryptonite weakness kicked in. Strike fast, strike hard - basic tactics. Whole fight should take about 5 seconds.

    I said this earlier:

She could literally tear apart the Batmobile and rip Bruce out of it's crumpled shell and beat him senseless. She'd actually have to be careful to pull her punches to not turn him into a fine batty mist.
Even with his utility belt, he'd still not have a snowballs chance. She could actually beat him by just standing still and let him break his bones by punching and kicking her.

Depower WW, which DC loves to do, and take away Bat's gear and they'd be fairly evenly matched. Bruce would have a strength and weight advantage but Diana's a better fighter.

Back to Batman v. Wonder Woman. If you can take away all of his gadgets, then you can take away all of Diana's powers. DC comics has done that to her a few times officially. Now you have the greatest hand to hand fighter in the DCU against a high level hand to hand fighter. If you are going to set up special conditions for one of them, you have to set up special conditions for the other one.

You are clearly clueless about anything Marvel...that much is obvious.

Didn't you read her wiki entry (taken from Marvel Comics' own encyclopedia)?

Remember...all this are written characters...so if we are going to go by that...we should follow all the written rules here...you can't nitpick whatever suits your agenda.

Is this the Earth where Wonder Woman is a normal human? because in the real DC/Marvel Universe Wonder Woman would kick the living **** out of She Hulk.

Now onto Batman....yeah, he's smart, he has all his neat little gadgets and he could give Diana a run for her money but beat her? No ****ing way!

Diana is a trained fighter/killer who has fought Gods in which they have stalemated or defeated them and their armies.

Batman to beat Wonder Woman would have to slow her down somehow and how do you suppose he could do that?
    .
In recent comics, Batman and Wonder Woman seem to be a little more chummier then they normally have. With that Princess Leia/Han Solo appreciation of each other.

Bottom line: You'll never see Batman beat Wonder Woman. If it happens, then Marvel Comics I will be defecting.

That would actually be an awesome fight...we can only wish both DC and Marvel get together again...and match these two...I'd pay BIG bucks to see it...lol.

    Don't worry...I'd take Wonder Woman...she's way prettier...

It's fun to tease one another...as long as it's civil...nothing wrong with that...we all love our superheroes...but they are fictional nevertheless...so it's all in good fun...

    Oh yeah?

"A transfusion of gamma-irradiated blood from her cousin Bruce Banner (the Hulk) granted Jennifer Walters superhuman powers. In her She-Hulk form, she possesses enormous superhuman strength, that potentially makes her, by far, the physically strongest known woman in the Marvel Universe when her emotional state is sufficiently high.

Although She-Hulk's strength originally remained at a set level and did not increase, later in her history her strength has sporadically been stated to increase further from fear, or anger, similar to her cousin. In addition the character possesses superhuman speed, agility, stamina, and reflexes.

As She-Hulk, Walters is exponentially stronger than she is in her Jennifer Walters form; therefore any extra strength gained as Jennifer Walters through intense physical training will be amplified, making her She-Hulk form even stronger. After being defeated by the Champion of the Universe, She-Hulk exercised for several months in her Jennifer Walters form, resulting in a significant gain in strength and muscular mass in her She-Hulk form and allowing her to soundly defeat the Champion in a rematch. At this time she was able to effortlessly sustain the Thing's maximum weight with a single arm, while her strength was greatly restrained by a "Jupiter suit," and she was shown as considerably stronger than Hercules. Her calm strength level has since receded, but remains somewhat higher than, for example, Wonder Man.

She-Hulk's body is superhumanly durable and nearly impervious to force, pain, and disease: her skin can withstand extremes of temperature, as well as tremendous stresses and impacts without puncture wounds or lacerations. Despite this, she has been proven to be highly ticklish, as she was once tickled by the Hulk Robot during a battle. Her enhanced physiology renders her immune to all terrestrial diseases. She-Hulk also possesses a healing factor, which enabled her to completely recover, within minutes, from a skewering by the Wendigo.

Unlike Hulk, Jennifer's personality and intelligence are less affected when she transforms into She-Hulk, although she becomes more self-confident and assertive. For a long time, She-Hulk could not revert to her original human form.

Due to training from the alien Ovoids, She-Hulk is able to swap powers and physiques with other women of the same species, but retains her green skin pigmentation, and only used it once"

She-Hulk - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    She's Marvel's STRONGEST female character...why am I being silly?

We are both going by comic writers...right?
