Some of the Suggestions in this Thread, is Pretty Much what I thought the Boostergold Comic was, when Jurgens was at the Helm. Rip was there, so Was Skeets, Books had Different Time Stream Team-Ups, as well as a Huge Cast of Guest Stars.

The Blue and The Gold Arc was Fantastic.
So was The Whole Batgirl Story ...., and Everything. I just personally never got Borded, and Really Didn't or Don't know How I would, considering with the TimeStream, Time Travel and Villians trying to Get Booster and Rip ..., it just always seemed so Fresh, New and Consistantly Creative.

Booster to Me, was the Ultimate Brave and the Bold Book, just with Booster, instead of Batman. It really works for the Character too imo.... Even more so with Time Travel .

I mean, This Whole Time Masters Book, is really Just What Boostergold was to Begin with. It shoulda Just been under that Header, Instead of Tanking Booster to BS Nonsense, with serious overkill of Monologing of Crap no One is interested in.

I stuck it out for Booster, ... But haven't picked up his book these last few Months, and don't think I will, unless the Creative Team Changes, Who Drove this Book to Cancelation Already in the Late 80's ? .... I can't Believe DC Forgot this. I know Everything comes full circle, but this is Rediculous.

The Best thing going for Booster right now is Generation Lost..... Booster and the Rest of The JLI are Great in this .... I'm Glued.

GL/Plas book came out the week of or possibly week before Christmas. It was by Marv Wolman and Brent Anderson. Read like a 1970s Marvel Team-Up, except with DC characters. They tackled an intergalactic drug ring.

It was a pretty mediocre effort, particularly by Anderson, but it was nice to read a GL story that wasn't all wound up with the other Lanterns and the Color Corps, and it always nice to see Plas.

While I don't mind arcs crafted for collections. Sometimes it's nice to get a simple story that's wrapped up in a single comic.

I don't think it could carry an ongoing series, but a 6 to 12 issue mini would be nicely served.

i really enjoyed most of the newer B&B run, especially the Flash/ Blackhawk issue and the Boy Commandos stuff. I think DiDio let it get dragged down by the Red Circle stuff that they never used and the Milestone characters, and then with the cartoon book running they just left it end. Did they ever announce a cancellation for the title? I'm guessing that Green Lantern & Plastic Man book they just did was B&B inventory material.

What would be neat is something along the lines of Brave and Bold animated cold openers where you do have Batman traveling through time and space on missions.

That way you could have Mission Impossible style teams of popular headliners like Batman or Wonder Woman interacting with the likes of Shining Knight, Kamandi, Jonah Hex, Enemy Ace etc. Along with regular Time Police characters like Booster, Rip, Goldstar etc.

That was the fun part of the most recent Brave and Bold, seeing them mix and match.

    Speaking of Dan Jurgans...

I'd like to see him do a series using Claw & Starfire spinning out of Time Masters.

I like the way you think Johnnystorm. Rip, Booster and then whoever's needed on the adventure.

I hear ya...That book was soooo freakin' hard to read and understand what the hell was going on when DeMatteis and Giffen took over. The "Bwah-ha-ha" days are long gone for me and I really wasn't buying what they were selling. Even if they got rid of all of those word balloons (MY GOD! Do they get paid by the word? )...the characters and situations were uninteresting to me. I dropped the book like a bad habit after 3 issues of their crap. Totally removed from the premise that Geoff Johns started and Dan Jurgens was continuing.....

I agree with you on Booster Gold. Dropped it after two issues under Demattis and Giffin.
