Someone suggested Jude Law somewher. I think, he'd be pretty good as Zod, but Butler would be cool. Wouldn't mind Butler as a burly, thick Shusteresque Superman, either, if he can do a midwest accent.

While I whoeheartedly disagree with using Zod in the film, Butler is 100 percent perfect for that role. I think an adaptation of John's Braniac story would have made a stellar movie, but what do I know?

Since Zack Snyder is directing Superman, and He's worked with him before my Guess, and pick for General Zod is...Gerard Butler!
Not just because of Synder...I think he'd be PERFECT for Role. Plus, like Terrence Stamp...he's a Brit.
