Ok, maybe I should have taken a more critical eye to this one. The part about him being considered for the role back in the day is real. You are probably right that the image is fan created.

It is still fun to think about. I think he would have been a good choice for the role.

HA, yeah, how dare the internet lie to us? Yes, Fraser was indeed up for the part at one point. I think he would have been a good choice. I feel like the new guy David Corenswet has some Fraser-like qualities, especially in hsi facial structure. Easy to see Fraser as Superman through on-set pics of him in the suit.

We sure that's not a recent Photoshop job or possibly some AI concoction? He looks a bit...thick for Fraser there, especially his neck and shoulders. Looks like a photo real version of Frank Quitely's All-Star Superman intepretation.

I've been seeing this photo online recently. This was from a screen test for the aborted J.J. Abrams version of Superman.

I gotta say... he looks pretty darn good in the suit. And I think he would have made a good Clark Kent as well.
