Netflix Dead Boy Detectives (Sandman tie-in)

Today boyfriend & I binge watched the season.
If you are not a fan of BL/Queer TV than this series might not be for you.

I do like the fact that this version ties into The Sandman series and had Endless Death and Despair show up.

This series is one where you have to watch it from the beginning and not skip around. It just one big movie. I hope we get a season 2 and more of the Endless guest stars.

I get they are going for the alternative ya vibe but I really wish we could have gotten the original style of DBD with the tween ghosts as they were originally shown in the Sandman comic book. I haven’t seen it yet but I do have hopes for it. I enjoyed the Mortal Instruments books and hoping it hits that level more than any of the Shadowhunter episodes did.

The series follows Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine, who decided not to enter the afterlife and stay on Earth to investigate crimes that involve the supernatural.
