Wow. This episode was MUCH darker than any others. It almost seemed to come from a different series. I saw where J.M. DeMaittes wrote it. He seem to either be BWAHAHA or deadly serious. I think it's good to throw some substance in every once and a while. It was a bit of a downer though.

Loved the over-the-top intro (which did seem to belong to the series). I do think the GA car has a bit of the Mego design influence in it. I think the Joker's hot air balloon crash into the statue of Justice's sword may have been a bit of a nod to The Batman series, where the Joker's blimp did the same in an early episode (maybe even the pilot?).

this week was a little blah but I guess when the costar is a robot what can we ask for. the opening bit with Arrowcar and batmobile vs jokermobile was better

I must admit, my son remembered the male Harley reference first. And he's 7!

Oh, and Newsarama's reviewer agreed that Joker and Harlely were supposed to be Timm and Dini.

I think so an amalgam of him as the madbomber and the JOKERZ leader (both of which he voiced)

liked bader voiceing the Kevin smith silent bob batman from mallrats

Thoroughly enjoyed the Bat-Mite episode, this show is really growing on me. The costume critique & the fan convention scenes were hilarious.

(Are the Mite's legs usually bare? I thought he wore tights.)
shorts an booties is the way he appears in the 70's show, I have to check my batman in the 50's to verify for comics

We have been fans since episode 1. I keep trying to point out the references in the background until my 3 yr old son says "Quiet Daddy please."
I have tried to stop doing that the first 3 or 4 times they watch an episode.

I think so. It looked like one of the caricatures he's done of himself.

That would be funny if it was!!!

I've got all of these recorded and I love the show, but this is the first one that I have watched multiple times. I'm not schooled enough to catch all of the references and homages, but what I have caught is just gold. This really was one made for fans. I loved the homage to BTAS! That was hard to miss.

I liked the convention too. Loved the long list of stuff that's suppose to be there and at the bottom it says "and tiddly winks."
