This Saturday Night on MeTV Svengoolie presents War of the Gargantuas:

An experimental lab animal called a gargantua escapes from his captors and is suspected to be the creature that is killing people all over the countryside. But when the gargantua from the lab appears at the same time as the evil gargantua, the two begin to battle across Japan.

I remember this movie from when I was four or five, mostly the chewed clothing. Somehow I thought at the time this was part of King Kong I think since I hadn’t seen Frankenstein Conquers the World until my forties. I still don’t really conflate this movie as part of the Frankenstein story in my head canon lol.

Yes those are the Star Trek heads, they look the closet, that is why I decided to do them, plus the new fur outfits.

Those Taureans look like they would make decent AT Intruders as well.

I had thought about the Adventure Team cavemen when I bought them.

This was my first dye job. The shade of green that came out works for a Beast Boy Ape down the road.

Great job putting this together, Taurean heads were a perfect choice. Too bad the ctvt fur outfits don’t come in a variety of different colors. Gargantuas is my favorite non Godzilla Japanese monster movie, and from what I understand the actors in the suits said those were their favorites to play, comfortable and moveable. Wish they didn’t kill them off at the end, would have loved to see a sequel.

Thanks. I wish I d have done these with the giant size bodies but that is alot to cover in fur and nobody has the head in that size.

Considering it’s…somehow a sequel to Frankenstein and these guys can clone themselves accidentally, a sequel makes as much sense as anything else.

And yes I’m aware of how it connects to Frankenstein. It just hurts my brain to remember it.
