This isn't much of a custom other than I swapped the head to a Mego body and used Green Arrow's green hands and CTVT purple superhero boots because the Mattel ones are wayyyy to big. This was more of a FYI post for those who didn't know. A Mattel Retro head will fit a vintage Mego body, no adapters needed. They have the same type of neck plug however, you have to pry open the Mattel body to get the head off without ruining it. You can do so at the shoulders where the arms are. After that, it was basically using a little hot water to soften up the vintage Mego body and the head goes right in snug fit. And now you know.
