    Great paint work on Tomar, Scott! I think you've captured his skintones and all the subtleties therein very, very well. I still have a Tomar Re head here at the abode that I keep promising to paint for Tom, so now I have a bar to aspire to!

    That's some realistic looking painting you got going there Scott. Any tips for us painters who would love to be able to paint like that?


    I would put him on one of those original skinny Mego bodies the one my Riddler and Joker are on. I forget what they are called but some characters look good ob them even though they are older.

    Awesome figure!!!! I think he looks surprised because the white highlight in eye is in the center of the eye and is round. Play with it in Photoshop to see if it makes the difference you are looking for.

    I use GW paint for yellow, but I rarely use any paint right out of the bottle. I mix all of my colors. The only yellows I've used that are any good are GW and Windsor and Newton tubes. I'm sure there are other options, these just work for me. The rest of my stuff is almost all the cheapo stuff from a craft store, just mixed and blended my own, unique goofy way.
