Cool car. Chicks dig the car. Nice Commish and Alfred too. Gordon needs a rooftop playset with working Batsignal.

I thought it looked familiar, but wasn't sure because of the red pinstriping. Modern Batmobile with a classic look, I like it

Thanks for the kind words folks!

That Batmobile is a work in progress based on a Power team spy car from M&C Toys. It was a Sears Canada exclusive, and a bit tough to find. You can read more at:
    Batmobile - Mego Talk

I'm still waiting on some better decals, but I added red pinstripes, inspired by the Batmobile Meule posted in that thread. Heres a bit better picture. I'll try take some more later today.

I used some old pinstriping I had around from when I repainted a buddy's truck. It doesnt seem to want to stick to the plastic car so well....have to buy some fresh stuff I guess!!

In the case of these guys, I base the Golden Age era on my childhood, playing with Megos. In other words super heros first show up in 1972. Batman, Superman, Aquaman, and later Roibn were the first. My so called silver age started about 8-10 years ago when I started making "customs". The modern era starts when the new EMCE figures hit the stores!
The Batman and Robin you see in that pic (that blurry pic--sorry!) are the current versions of the 1972 characters, assuming they had aged naturally since then. If Bats had his cowl off you would see he had grey hair. Robin uses Grecian Formula to maintain his youthful appearance, even though he's pushing 50!

    Hope this makes sense?
Oh that's kind of cool. Kind of like Joe. He has his own world version of characters. You've taken the opportunity to create your own idea of them. I should have just went and did that instead of trying to be comic book precise. Probably save me a lot of time worrying about stuff.
