Yep he altered a bunch of parts...and then was molding and casting all the parts...very cool stuff.

Hey, cool information! It is when one has questions like these that the Mego Museum is such an invaluable resource. Thanks, guys.

Oh and BTW, Flatt's Storm still stinks, IMHO.

There was a really good Flatt tutorial in one of the Toyfare specials, pre full run. He modified most of the body parts. He did use a MOTU torso, and beefed up swivel arms. i intend to scan in the tutorial soon. Iguess tmorrow would be a good day

Yeah - he used a host of different parts for his bodies. Over time, he began sculpting parts and eventually produced an entire body.

Pretty sure they at least started out on vintage bodies with altered parts.

Charlee Flatt Customs: Were they on a new body?

I've been lurking around the heated debate in the marketplace regarding a collection of Charlee Flatt's customs and I'm just wondering if Flatt used a new body for his customs. I know he used new heads, but I'm just wondering if those new heads were just stuck on an old Mego body or what.

    Does anyone know?
