I suppose this depends on your definition of 'prototype'. As far as I'm concerned, a prototype was either a) the figure(s) being used with the manufacturing rep for production specifications or b) the figure(s) being hauled around to shows and being used in marketing photos. As I recall (and I'm amazed at the memory of some folks here that weren't even involved with all this on a weekly basis back then) there were only two. Like the Phantom, Charlee may have thrown together more after the fact and sold them as 'prototypes', but I wouldn't consider them as such.

I was a reader of ToyFare and thought the Flatt Phoenix was...endearing somehow. His Batgirl is pretty good, but for some reason has a huge Rihanna forehead...maybe trying to pay tribute to the original Mego?

Yeah, the "good Witch" was NOT the right head to use.

Pheonix was made for toyfare, and the head is a mego glinda WOZ, so blame mego. Toyfare didn't pay much, so he didn' t want to put all that work into it. I'm sure Greg will post up some of the newer females. That batgirl was the old version, and was Scott A figure until I sold it for him. Charlee was working on a female body, he didn't like the perportions of the mego one. He built female figures on the old style but was going to roll them out when he got to a point of mastering a female body that he was happy with.
