DCAU Hal Jordan

I know Hal Jordan has an official figure, and I have it, but I can't bring myself to open it. I wanted a loose one for a Justice League original seven group shot. I found a loose John Stewart on Ebay for only $11 and free shipping. I replaced the head with a Trek Kirk. Since Stewart's costume originally appeared in the animated series, I decided to try to make Jordan look as I thought he would if he was an animated regular. I found a mask on the net that looked right. Printed it and repainted it a little. Repainted the eyes too. I then repainted the hands white, attached the head, and I had my loose Hal. In the JLA the Superman and Batman is original. Aquaman and Martian Manhunter are CTVT fist Fighters. Wonder Woman is the Gal Gadot one.The Flash is the new Wally West one. I also did a Pic with a new Green Arrow, the hard traveling heroes. The Sinestro is Mattel. I put him in a Pic with the Alan Scott I posted before. Scott is also made with a Kirk head. Will Shat is versatile.

There were my fave toys as a kid, and I have been buying a few when they crop up on eBay, which is not that often.

I have 2 wolfmen, and recently noticed a few differences; one is slightly taller than the other and made from much squishier material. You can give his head a good squeeze, whereas the other is much harder, similar to my Frankenstein and Phantom.

I can't seem to find any pictures online that look like the squishy head version, so I wondered if anyone knew anything about different sculpts/materials with these figures?

The one on the right also somehow has Frankenstein's arms that have been painted over to match the Wolfman's costume, so he is also a bit of an anomaly.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The Virginian James Drury

I added another western hero to my collection, this is James Drury as the Virginian. This character had no name on the series, he was just called the Virginian or the Shilo Ranch foreman, this guy was cool.

I got lucky and found a mego John Boy head with the cheek mole removed on ebay.

I painted the hair black using apple barrel paint, it works really well on vinyl heads and dries fast, also painted the eyebrows.

Original mego body, got the maroon red shirt from Dr. Mego, he just happened to have one along with the gun belt and six shooter.

Black pants, black vest and black boots from classic tv toys, the hat was given to me from museum member
PNGwynne Scott, he saves the day once again.

*Note, for some reason the color of the shirt comes out brighter than it actually is, it’s darker in person.

Question towards disintegrating Pleather .

What do you guy`s do to replace cuffs and neck collars that are disintegrating ? I recently got several loose figures that are in bad shape where a complete replacement of the pleather would be needed.

Anyone has done this on figures ? any pictures ? What material did you use to replace the pleather ?

Any info would be helpful

Was digitizing some pictures, and I found this one. The action figure holding the Six Million Dollar Man is me. You can see the Hulk on the coffee table. In the background is a Green Arrow box. I think the Hulk box is there too. Anyone else have one of the Hugos? Used to glue disguises on the face. The glue got messy. I think it was 1975. Got my first cassette recorder that year too.
