Sometimes I write things and then I get this twinge in the back of my mind telling me that it could be a bad idea for various reasons. Then I go back and delete what I wrote before I post.

I love comics. I get excited when new things come out. I love new ideas and twists on old ones. I read comics to escape from the world for a short time. I love books that can make me laugh. I love art that inspires me to draw or teaches me something new or just looks awesome. I try so very hard not to judge something until I at least try it. I don't love every comic I read, but I try to see the good in as much of it as possible.

My current favorite reads include:
Saga
Danger Club
Batman (and much of what goes with him)
Batman Beyond Unlimited (my favorite book every month right now)
Wonder Woman
The Flash

Favorite Artists include:
Scott McDaniel
J Scott Campbell
Jeff Smith
Greg Capullo
Humberto Ramos
Fiona Staples
Amanda Conner (I love her style!)

I read a lot on the forums about how much something sucks, or how it's getting raped, or thank god I don't read comics, or it's garbage. And that makes me sad. If comments like that could be backed up with why you don't like something or why it's garbage, then perhaps a conversation could commence.

Anyway, this will be the last time I comment about it, but I really do feel sad that I just can't seem to identify with the majority of the people around here when it comes to comics. Like I'm some kind of outsider.
