PLAY FREEDOM FORCE SILVER AGE SUPER HERO PC GAME
If you love comic books then you will love this game. It's like opening up your favorite comic book and jumping into the action. The game is a tribute to the legendary Jack Kirby and captures all the magic and intrigue of the great Silver Age comic era. The characters are all newly created but it feels as though you've known them all your comic life. They are influenced heavily from all the classic hero arch types, however they have inheritted the heart and soul that all the modern day heros have lost. Remember when comics used to be Fun? Freedom Force is All about that Fun.
If you treat yourself to this game, prepare yourself for one hell of a ride. What I love best about this game is that you aren't just punching every bad guy you run across. There is a story that is told and then the action is left in your hands. You as a costumed crusader truely are motivated to complete each mission to witness What Happens Next. I love the custscenes where you can catch your breath from the action and watch the movies. It's like watching your favorite episodes of the Super Friends only better. Everything about this game is beautifully executed. I love the hero voices. You can tell this was a labour of love for the cast of Irrational games. I'm also very impressed with the music and sound effects that really colour the atmosphere.
I have many reasons for Loving this game but most importantly it is because it is my brothers dream come true. My brother Robb Waters designed all the characters to Freedom Force and drew the wonderful movie cutscenes. I love all the Hero Origin stories that are shown. All drawn in the Magnificent Jack Kirby style. I really love this game and have played it to its finish twice now. The most fun I've had in a long time. Current comics are dead to me. I hate em. But Freedom Force is everthing I used to love about comics: Fun, Heart and Soul.
If you haven't played this game or heard about it, the best gift I can give any of you is to suggest getting your hands on a copy.
