The
1975 Mego Catalog showcased seven new outfits for Dinah-Mite.
The top set, labeled New Fashion
assortment is actually the same as the original Fabulous
Fashions assortment, with Brocade Beauty being replaced by
Dinner Party (top, far right) and Super Suede given a near-total
makeover.
The outfits seen on the bottom were all new, and were not given
names by Mego or featured on the back of the boxes. The fabric choices
on Happy Hippy and Flower Power ended up differing from these prototype
shots.
As Mego did not provide names for these outfits, Museum member Anthony
McElveen gave them the names you see here. They are all pitch-perfect
and Anthony obviously missed his calling.
