Shazam!

"I apologize for the cheesy effects, but I haven't been able to do a proper photo shoot in a while. Been dropping the boys n girls on the scanner, and this is my way of compensating. I may stick with digital backgrounds , but I promise a better job on the Shazam pic soon."

Well, here we are in December and I finally got that new Shazam picture to you. Turns out I did stick with the digital backgrounds, but haven't abandoned the cheesy effects.

Shazam/Captain Marvel is truly one of the great Megos. This is a color scheme that lepers would look good in. "Yellow and red, baby. It's hot!" Shazam is a MUST MINT. If the colors aren't clear and bright. it's just not happening. I got lucky recently when I was able to buy a Shazam on a card that had the extra part CUT OFF. It's a shame about the card, but I got a MINT Shazam for a great price. Anyway, he really dresses up a room. My next custom project is a Shazam in a white cape with yellow piping and a head that approximates the original artwork. Square jaw, weird hairline, WHITE eyeballs.

Mego never made a Winnebago.

New to the Museum are these varying pics of Shazam loose, note the sublte differences in the type 1 and type 2 releases.

1979 Carded Shazam is rarely seen, he features a cloth emblem and the all too common "Zombie" head that happends with many late produced Mego figures.
