Mego Green Arrow

This all-time favorite was in my original long-lost collection and I'm very happy he's back. Mego Green Arrow was missing a lot as a Superhero. No super powers, kind of a one note character, but he survives because he has STYLE! Errol Flynn all over again. Same goes for the Mego doll. Marvelous face, the sculpted beard and dashing haircut are very satisfying and the may be the best Mego headgear ever in the way that it fits the head. This is a complete example with bow and quiver w/ shoulder straps that are the figure's only flaw in that don't fit on the shoulders but rather float around the arms. I've kept mine in the Type-One body mainly because the old-style hand holds the bow. One significant problem with a lot of Megos is that the weapons and accessories rarely fit well in the hand.

The Green Arrow's arrival signifies a change in the Header for DC Characters, this is one of the toughest Kresge cards to find..

Red Card Green Arrow shown above, red cards are believed to late releases and are quite desirable.

Variations abound when we're talking Ollie.

Here is Lili Ledy Green Arrow (AKA Fleche Verde) in all of his glory, a boxed example has not surfaced but Ollie came in Fist Fighting (Yeah that's right, a fist fighting Green Arrow!) and a non fist fighting version. He is one of the top four hardest to get Lili Ledy Megos.

Mego gave Green Arrow a set of wheels as well, click on the image to check out the Mego Green Arrow Car!
